Hope

To give up hope is to give up life completely. The spirit will shrivel and die when the heart can no longer see beyond the here and now.

One must choose to believe the impossible to be a reality, reaching constantly forward without drawing back. Fear of disappointment must never quench the fire of expectation.

Were it not for the clouds of disappointment, the occasional showers of tears and the winds of change which buffet us on every side the tree of life would never bloom.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when the desire comes it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

Every person at times must be tempted to wonder if there is anything left to hope for. Dark days come into our lives; times when we wonder if the sun will ever shine again.

Then Jesus comes and we look for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ… Titus 2:13
